![]() ![]() If you can successfully connect to the speaker or display's SSID in your WiFi settings, open the Google Home app and try to set up the device.Wait for the system to boot and check if the device appears online in Google Home. Unplug the Chromecast from the USB port and plug it back after 10 seconds. Note: If you previously set up your device and have not factory reset it since it got kicked off of the network, look for the name of the device that you assigned to it in the list of available networks on your mobile device (Example: “Kitchen Home"). Restart your Chromecast You should restart your Chromecast before doing anything else.Open the list of available WiFi networks and look for an available network with the name “GoogleHomeXXXX" (where XXXX is a random number).Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.If it is still the same, try to manually connect to the device’s hotspot from your phone or tablet’s Wi-Fi settings.Try to use a different phone and see if you will have the same issue.Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals. ![]()
